Frame.io Review — Client Guide
1. Open the Review Link
Click the Frame.io link provided via email or message.
No account is required to leave comments (unless specified).
2. Play the Video
Press Play to watch the video.
Use the spacebar to pause and resume.
Toggle full screen for a better viewing experience.
3. Leave Comments (Time-Stamped)
Pause the video at the exact moment you want to comment.
Click in the comment box on the right and type your feedback.
Press Enter to post. Your comment will automatically attach to that exact timecode.
Best practice: Be clear and specific (e.g., “0:42 — tighten this shot” or “1:10 — update lower-third text”).
4. Draw On the Frame (Optional)
While paused, use the annotation tools to mark areas directly on the video frame.
Add a comment to explain the note.
5. Reply & Resolve
Reply to comments to clarify feedback.
When an item is addressed, it can be marked Resolved to keep reviews organized.
6. Approve or Request Revisions
Once you’ve reviewed the full video, leave a final comment such as:
– Approved
– Approved pending these changes
– Revisions requested
Review Tips
Watch the full video once before commenting.
Group similar feedback into one comment when possible.
Keep all feedback inside Frame.io to avoid missed changes.
